All Good Dogs Obedience Training

Summer, 2010

Seapoint Chesapeakes

All Good Dogs is dedicated to positive, fun obedience training for pet and family dogs. We offer group classes at reasonable rates of $50 for a 4-week session at Puppy Kindergarten, Good Manners I and Good Manners II, and Canine Good Citizen levels. Classes are kept small to maximize individual attention, using positive reinforcement and motivational techniques to bring out the best in your dog. Seasonal classes meet in Oquossoc, Maine. Individual behavioral consultations are available by appointment.

More about classes...

KPT - Kindergarten Puppy Training
Have a fun night out with your puppy! Training and socialization for puppies up to 5 months. Recommended starting age, 8-10 weeks. Give your puppy the essential experience of socialization with other puppies and people, plus get started on all the basic obedience skills.

Good Manners I
Learn how to train your dog to be a good family member! This class is for dogs over 5 months of age who have not had a class before. Teaches the basics, including sit, down, stand, stay, come when called, and leash walking. Includes problem solving, crate training, and handling exercises.

Good Manners II
Continues Good Manners to build the training relationship and strengthen skills for you and your dog. The class is for dogs who know the basics but need to learn to be more reliable. This class is a good preparation for Canine Good Citizen.

Canine Good Citizen
This class prepares dogs to take the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen test on the last night of class. CGC is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. Many dog owners choose Canine Good Citizen training as the first step in training their dogs. The Canine Good Citizen Program lays the foundation for other AKC activities such as obedience, agility, tracking, and performance events.
